LCFB Annual Dinner Meeting with the Legislators

Each year our two organizations gather in a joint meeting with State Government officials to exchange ideas and discuss our legislative priorities. In the long run, there is no resource more vital, or more threatened, than our rapidly disappearing Connecticut farms and farmland.  This annual dinner event allows our farmers to brainstorm with government officials about the needs facing our multifunctional industry.  It reiterates the importance of agriculture and the understanding that without strong governmental support, farming will soon disappear altogether in Connecticut.
